Remote Mouse is available for Android, iOS and Windows Phones. To connect the app with your computer, you need to download the Windows and Mac clients from their website. Once you complete the installation in your PC and Mobile devices, here’s what you need to do.
Step 1: After you complete the installation on your computer, the app’s server will start running in the background. Now, connect your mobile device to the same WiFi network and open the “Remote Mouse” app on your device.
Step 2: It will automatically detect all the connected computers to your WiFi network. Select the one you need and you are good to go.
In the mobile app, there will be five different options available on the top menu. First, you have the Settings button, which has all the options and functions to control the application. Second, you have the computer control menu, which includes Shutdown, Sleep, Restart and Logout options. The third option Media Controller is a premium add-on, which lets you control the media players on your computer. If you find that useful, you can purchase the add-on from the Settings menu.
Keyboard and Mouse will be available as the last two options on the menu. You can quickly switch between them and control everything on your computer. One of the interesting feature of the application is, when you connect the app to your Mac, all the Trackpad gestures can be done using the application. In the Settings Menu, there will be more premium add-ons like Spotify Remote and Image Transfer Plugin.
