Email clients are pretty important for people who want to stay updated with their mails and mainly for those who have multiple email accounts. We have a default email client called Microsoft Outlook for Windows, it is fine for basic users but people who need some advanced features and options they need to go for the third party applications. Today I came with a new email client called Mail Bird, which has an interface like Sparrow for Mac OS X. Sparrow is a famous email client for Mac which is later acquired by Google. Mail Bird has got a very simple interface and plenty of features to access your different email accounts.
You can download Mailbird using the link at the end of this post. Once you install the application, you will be requested to connect with your email id. People who have used or seen Sparrow app in Mac, would notice a similar look in the Mailbird application. The message hint will be available on the left and you can see the actual message in the right side panel. People who have used Microsoft Outlook and other free email clients would see a new clutter free interface in Mailbird. The font, navigation style, new messsages and everything will be completely new.
If you are a Gmail user, it syncs with your email perfectly and it will bring all your labels and folders to the Mailbird. It is a pretty fast application where you can quickly compose a message and send them in just a flick. Mailbird supports all the Gmail shortcuts, so you if are familiar with the Gmail’s web interface, it will be pretty easy for you to use the application. Another important feature is you can connect apps like Facebook, Dropbox, Google drive, etc. This gives you an easy way to access all these apps and your emails from a single place.
Mailbird has both free and premium versions. In free version, it is ad-supported and in every email it will add a “Sent from Mailbird” link to the footer. For premium version, pricing details will be available on the website. Now the application is in beta stage and even if the complete version is released there will be free and premium versions. Also the beta version supports only one email for free users, later you can add emails when the full version is available.
If you are looking for a good email client for Windows, Mailbird is an excellent choice. Try the free version, if you like it you can switch to the premium ones. Also share your experience with us in the comments and don’t forget to share this post with your friends.
